If you want online web editing/designing systems, there are a lot more. A Google search would give you plenty of such online systems.
Why we do not recommend online systems is that we believe in a simpler, focused work. The advantage of a standalone utility that works as a desktop application, is that you are naturally not distracted by other things happening on the Internet.
