Web Root Folder

It is from where your website takes life!

In BushFire (and in fact, any webhosting system) there is ONE folder inside which you need to place all your HTML, JS, CSS, Images, etc. Either directly into the folder itself or further inside; in sub-folders beneath the root folder.

So the Web Root Folder is just that folder.

Note that BrushFire handles ONLY static websites -- but you are free to change the contents of the website anytime and pin another one. We have a list of useful web editors and designers that you can use to create your website -- if you do not want to use our other utilities in our trilogy. See this appendix

Here are some more conventions:

Note that BushFire handles only static web pages. This includes *.html and any other files that does not need server-side processing. So it won't handle PHP or other server side technology dependent files such as Javascript for Nodejs, etc. Having said that; you can use our other two utilities at Pinsites that can give you some amount of dynamism -- so hosting sites that changes regularly can be done quite easliy.
